Delivery
We only deliver to the registered card address or a verified paypal address, all orders to other addresses will be refunded/rejected for financial security reasons. Cash payments allow dispatch to take place to anywhere nominated by the buyer
We currently deliver for free to mainland UK, but in the event we have to charge, the following terms apply
Please note that we only accept 3D secure cards on-line, if you wish to use an alternative method of card payment we can take payment over the phone and then dispatch to the registered card address.
Goods are normally dispatched for "next day" delivery. However, we are not able to take responsibility for costs incurred as a result of goods turning up outside of this timescale.
Standard delivery is £6 INC. VAT for Postage and Packaging to any UK Mainland Address (excl Highlands & Islands) using either the Post Office or our Courier (the choice of which, will remain ours). This is our standard rate, but it not always applied and may vary if larger/heavier items are included within the sale. If the cost of standard delivery is different to this, it will be detailed within the item description.
Expect to pay £3.50 per additional heavy item, so for a 50lt bag of soil or pebbles etc up to a max of £41 for between 11 and 60 full bags on a pallet (depending what you buy). You will pay £6 for the first bag and £3.50 for each addtional one you order.

Why do we charge our P&P like this? We pay extra for consignments over 20kg and soil weighs approx. 30kg on its own, so as soon as you start to add these heavy items to your order it starts to increase our costs significantly and we need to recover this cost from you. We get charged per box/pack in an order, but we can't make a single pack really heavy or we get charged significantly more because of the health & safety and handling problems involved for the carrier. The £3.50 per heavy item charge is a true reflection of the cost to CleverGreen for providing this service and we would not charge it unless we had to.
If you do not live on Mainland UK, we will probably use the Parcel Force services to get your product to you, but this may vary depending on the product type, size and weight and destination.
Our normal courier can be found here www.FedExUK.net if you have a tracking number, then enter it in the box that opens up for an update on your delivery. Please note tracking data only upoads at the end of each working day.
If you do not have a tracking number, contact us and we will provide one where appropriate.
We aim to dispatch all products the day we receive them. Goods are dispatched from our site in Telford for delivery "NEXT DAY" which means next working day unless specified at the time of order. We must receive an order by 13300hrs if we are to ensure dispatch in time for the goods to leave site and achieve these timescales and only then Mon-Fri as the courier only collects on these days.
If the Post Office is used, you need to allow up to 4-7 working days for the product to arrive, however, in our experience the Post Office has consistently delivered within 2 working days of dispatch. Order cut-off for this route is 1300hrs, although we may be able to dispatch after this time, it can’t be guaranteed.
No dispatch will take place until funds have cleared.
Bank holidays affect the delivery schedule, so please bear this in mind when ordering. If you need something done urgently, give us a call and we will see what we can do.
Local taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
