Water Coolers bring the temperature of your tank down to the optimum temperature for nutrient uptake; they also ensure the water does not rise above 30C where oxygen does not remain in the water. If your water rises above 30C you should always renew it unless you use some method of direct aeration as once the oxygen has gone it will not have time to naturally return and it will therefore stagnate.
